By the elvis statue next to their front door in their garden at the front of the house and the silver metallic seventies chevy stationwagon parked on their lawn I could make out that the people who lived here where most definetely elvis fans.The woman who had opened the door was so kind to show me the interior of the seventies chevy stationwagon.The car's dashboard was filled with Americana and Elvis paraphernalia.
I felt like a character in a scorscese movie about to drive away into the great divide.
