finally, finally finally got over the hurdle. and this was actually the second one today. it's so nice when people ask to have their picture taken.

this is grant, he's not a student at berkeley, even though that's sather gate behind him (being restored)- he was just chillin on campus, like me. he just moved here, and is looking for a job and a place to stay, but not in berkeley, which is way too expensive, and not in oakland, where it's way too easy to buy crack.
