It snowed in vain this morning. We were right at the freezing point, so what might have otherwise been rain came down in solid form. Now the temperature is climbing, and the new flakes will very quickly join their earlier-fallen comade's' fate in the ever-growing puddles on our street. But, for a brief time early today, everything in town was beautifully frosted.
