The Common Crane

My personal bird watcher, Linda, left a comment on my photo blog, to let me know that she had spotted some Common Cranes while out horse back riding near the old tree. As I got there this afternoon I saw two Cranes next to a group of Whooper Swans. This was as close as I could come. They noticed me, and decided to move further away. Two Cranes, that's 7998 fewer birds than what was spotted at Lake Hornborga yesterday...
