On shooting ground

View On Black - Large

Being unaware of the actual significance of the place and not quite knowing where I had set foot I saw these magnificent colors, a carmozin pinkish red colored the terrace shaped hillock and seemed to cover the grass.I was overwhelmed by these fairytale like surroundings and it was not untill I looked at the ground after feeling a constant crackle beneath my feet that I saw that the ground was covered with empty buckshot shells and small iron or steel pellets, shells everywhere and then it hit me that I was actually at a shooting range where they also practiced clay pigeon shooting.

I was on shooting ground.
