Domo go Boom!

Since I was out at the marina lens testing, I had to play with my photography buddies :-) Well, ok, so only one came out 'cause I was losing light (sun behind clouds) and the wind was picking up, and it was getting chilly.

And that haze down the middle of my picture is killing me! Look how bright they are on the left! (besides the fact I bumped up saturation and contrast...) but... what the heck happened in the middle???
