This little guy has been living under my guest bathtub. Kinda diturbing when you go in to use the facilties and there is the sound of scratching. clawing and thumping. I'm just glad it wasn't a scunk!
My Husband baited the trap with an apple core last night. This morning we found him...looking very depressed at being caught. He was fine until I took his picture (he probably knew that this would end up on the internet and all his friends would be laughing at him)
Rest assured we released him back into the wild near Calaveras Lake, well away from the road, near a creek that feeds into the lake.
Yes we do practice Catch and Release.
From the look on his face if he could have caught me...he would not have released me.
