The Fog

Seldon Scott

A beautiful, warm, clear evening, the start of summer. I was watching for a sunset but nothing happened, the sun went down without fireworks.

As the last of the sun winked out, a fog bank rolled in and slowly ate up everything in its path. It hung around for an hour, decided nothing much was going on and disappeared into the night. As did I.

I wasn't sure if this belonged in the sunset set, but hey, what the heck.
