The New Museum

This is the oldest building at Tyresta. The shed at Janssongården dates back more than 400 years. I talked to the caretaker, Göran Egerhamn who lives at the farm on a previous visit. He told me that the timber from the newly renovated building was found in Dalarna and is from the period when the shed was built. Same shed before the restoration. Göran used the shed for storage, but soon it will be turned into a museum and open for the many visitors to the national park.
