I usually walk home in the evening. The first part of my walk is through a beautiful forest. Unfortunately, the rest of it is along the side of a very busy road. So, I tend to dawdle a bit in the forest before emerging onto the thoroughfare.

This forest is on the edge of the University of Northern British Columbia. The university is surrounded by a generous portion of forested land.

The light was amazing this early-evening. I wished that I had had some family or friends along with me. It would have been great for portraits.
