Taken in the odd little town that is Quartzsite, Arizona, not with any forethought on my part but simply because it's the first place I could get off the freeway to photograph what was the largest appearing full moon I've ever seen. I only wish I could have photographed what I saw a few minutes earlier—an even larger full moon rising right over Interstate 10 just inside the Arizona border as I was driving back from California. It looked like a long trail of cars driving to and from the moon. It was such an incredible site that everyone started driving slower and slower ...
