Thursday Walk 262

Do you know Canada is in the final week of a federal election campaign? Honestly, if you don't then check out Canadian media online. Many believed this would be a snorefest, but, it's now a horse race. We may be on the precipice of a historic political shift in this country: a party with roots in 1930s agrarian populist socialism could form the next government of Canada. And wouldn't it be cool that Jack Bauer's grampa's legacy finally takes power. (The Co-Operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) was founded by Tommy Douglas, grandfather of Kiefer Sutherland. The CCF became the New Democratic Party (NDP) in 1961 when it merged with the Canadian Labour Congress.) Oh, and it's Thursday and we do that walk thing.
