Our last day in Australia was surprisingly hard to fill. We checked out of the Sofitel at about 10.30am, took the car up Mt Coot-tha to look at the view over Brisbane, tried to find the JC Slaughter Falls (we must have walked straight past them), then drove up to Bribie Island just so we could say we did, before still arriving at the airport early for checking in our car.
The bonus was that we were about 4th in line at Air NZ check-in, and second into the Koru Lounge...
