Some of my favorite flowering cherry trees - I shoot them just about every year, and after a while I have my list of favorites - are the weeping cherry trees, or Higan cherries, which grow in the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The small pale flowers trail along the path like tresses of magical hair.
