(31) sometimes the only way out is to leave it all behind

Christine T

I wouldn't have noticed the train tracks if, right as I was getting out of my car, a freight train hadn't come rolling through. Of course, there was such a massive tangle of trees and vines between me and the railroad that getting any decent shots of the moving cars was nearly impossible.

Many of the cars had graffiti on them, which reminded me of an event I went to years ago that highlighted the work that many artists do, and how tagging train cars became a way of communicating across great distances.

A few of my favorites from that event can be seen here, here, and here.
