I don't often post photos of my kids to flickr but I'll make an exception for this one. Rafi is competing in the International Youth Games being held at his 'home' track. It's an annual sporting and arts event for twin towns. In previous years he's travelled to Rendsburg in Germany and Aalborg in Denmark to compete. There are also teams from Lublin in Poland and Almere, Holland this year.

He narrowly cleared the bar here for a PB and finished 4th in this event, not bad considering he isn't really built for the high jump. The giant Dutch guy who won silver pretty much stepped over the bar at this height. Rafi won the 200m sprint and gained a silver medal in the triple jump.
