Well it's the day after the summer solstice and the flowers are starting to bloom in the backyard after a damp spring. And the saddest part of all is that the days be getting shorter as we head inexorably toward the autumn equinox. You'd think summer would just stop and stay, but obviously the laws of planetary mechanics won't let that happen. Still, one can dream. So it's Thursday again and we walk. And snap photos.
