what happened to the farm

I'm sorry that this is the first thing people see of town when they come in through the Lausanne-Nord autoroute exit. It used to be a picturesque old farm surrounded by tree-lined fields and meadows. The farmer died, his wife moved away and the cows went somewhere else.
It's been squatted for a couple of years now.
