This fall has been teasing us with a taste of winter. We've already had a couple of earlier November snow dumps more typical of December, but then it all melted away. So in a couple of weeks of what's left of autumn, perhaps we should take advantage of our current moderate climes. Of course if you live south of the equator you're just warming up to summer. It must be an odd sensation for Christians to celebrate a winter holiday during a heat wave. But there you go.
