It wasn't quite like the Internet was down, but as you know by now Flickr was offline for most of the day. It's an odd feeling when the site you take for granted just isn't there. Indeed, I took it for granted. I knew the 23rd would be a scheduled maintenance day for Flickr to do some monkey wrenching and when they didn't come back when I wanted to post this week's Thursday Walk I felt, I dunno, meh. It wasn't that I missed Flickr so much that I was put off because I needed post a blurb for this week's Utata Thursday Walk (utata:project=tw683). This was compounded by the fact I could not upload anything yesterday when the site was back. But it is what it is.
