As I've gotten older I've come to realize I only like one-third of the months of the calendar. May-June is my favourite period followed by September-October. Notice something? Both bound July-August. Now, you would be correct in thinking most people prefer summer, but I seem to prefer spring and autumn. I melt in humidity. I cannot abide humidity. Humidity is my krypton. I don't enjoy summer vacations any more because I prefer air-condtionned offices that time of year. Perhaps I'm growing old. But Thursday Walks aren't old.
