A Thursday Walk through Nottingham took me past this revival Tudor building, which opened as Boots Store 2 in 1907 and had the firm's Social Club on site from 1919. Jesse Boot and his wife Florence planned every detail of this and many other stores. The Grade II listed building is now the Embankment pub. Architect A N Bromley.
