Here in Canada we had our Thanksgiving holiday (Monday of course) sometimes coinciding with the U.S. Columbus Day. Our Thanksgiving signals the official beginning of Autumn for many up here. The air is crisper, the leaves are resplendent in their finest shads of orange, yellow, and red. I sometimes envy not having a Thursday Walk to celebrate that. But, acknowledging the changing of the seasons with its shorter days and more golden light never stopped us from our weekly routine.
