We know the days are getting shorter as we approach winter (or getting longer approaching summer in the Antipodes), but does it really have to look so dreary outside. Rain, rain, rain. Last week it was snow, snow, snow. October felt like summer and then something switched on Hallowe'en Night and Winter arrived bold and scary.
