The White Chair, 1

I'm sure it's all been done before, but not by me.
So, a new series.

It's not groundbreaking, yet it is a new direction in my work to attempt a more constructed image rather than the found tableaux for which I regularly go out hunting.
It's an attempt to challenge myself and push beyond my comfort zone.

And believe me, I am not comfortable being a public spectacle, yet I had serious fun shooting these, not the least part of which was the element of "danger" involved in shooting on both private property and public thoroughfares.

Just this morning while conspicuously trespassing at a riding school horse stable I had to scramble myself and the chair back into my truck and speed away in a cloud of dust and flying gravel like a fleeing fugitive. You should've seen the smile on my face.
A sideways grin and a backward glance anyway.

So. The White Chair Series, part one.

You never know where that chair may turn up next...
