Seen in the Crossroads Arts District

This is Day 311/366 of my attempt to photograph the sky every day for a year. This afternoon I took a short walk with my camera around the Crossroads Arts District in Kansas City, MO. I've always been curious about this building, which currently houses luxury loft apartments, but I don't know what its original use was. (As with all my work, constructive critique is welcome and faves are appreciated.)
