Utata Thursday Walk 765

It's a week before Christmas Eve and the air is polar vortexy this morning. The sky shows off some atmospheric optics as I head out on a walk to the dentist. I was thinking if it stays clear tonight I might be able to catch a glimpse of the converging conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn at dusk, the closest pairing of these gas giants into a "Christmas Star" in over 800 years. Listening to the Velvet Underground's "Pale Blue Eyes" and thinking how this song written in 1969 sounds like it was made yesterday. These are the things that hold my thoughts as I take may Utata Thursday Walk. Tag your photos with utata:project=tw765 and post one small image in this thread.
