The next Coen Brothers picture, Burn After Reading, is filming around the corner from the house this week. I can't resist hanging out as the crew works on State Street in Brooklyn Heights - now, for cinematic reasons, 30th Street NW in Washington, at the corner of M Street - for the day's shooting.

Here writers and directors Joel and Ethan Coen head back over to the tech side of things, while in the background John Malkovich preps for his scene in a stately bathrobe. The small crowd is mostly waiting for George Clooney and Brad Pitt, who may or may not be coming by later.
