June 24th holds a strange sway for me. When I lived in Montreal for a number of years in the early 90s it was a statutory holiday, Fête National, or to some, St. Jean-Baptiste Day. It was odd to have the day off in the middle of the week — this year it's Thursday — but no one ever complained. Weirdly, Microsoft likes to announce new versions of Windows from time-to-time, but always on June 24. Today, Windows 11 was debuted. For whatever cosmic coincidence, this week's Utata Thursday Walk happens to be on the June 24. Is there anything to it? Is it an omen? I'll let you ponder this question on your photo walk.
