This is generally the vacation week, where people start their annual summer holidays, now that school's out. I've already three weeks of it and have two more weeks upcoming. What does one do for a vacation at the tail end of a pandemic? Borders are not fully open so many aren't going anywhere, though there are stirrings as airlines are re-instating their international routes. So, what can one do? Staycations seem like a thing we did pre-pandemic and carried over during it. But I still like the idea. There is much ground to be covered within your local environs, especially on foot.
