Armistice Day. Remembrance Day. Veterans Day. Poppy Day. These are all the names of the days commemorating the end of the First World War for Great Britain, Commonwealth countries and the U.S. (Armistice Day was November 10 in the UK, I believe.) Various European nations celebrate it on different days of the year, depending on which war was more pronounced to its psyche. Perhaps we'll see poppies on our Utata Thursday Walk.
