Today we buried my 98 year-old po-po. She was diagnosed with COVID-19 and passed shortly after. This was the first death in my family since the pandemic began. I have read the stories, listened to the accounts of others who have experienced this before me. Now I share those emotions. She would have been born just after one pandemic ended and lived long enough to feel the affect of another. I feel fortunate that today is a Thursday and that you will allow me the chance to remember her here. So, remember to walk today and take some photos.
