Lake Siljan

Inger Nordin

The weather is gray and gloomy now, all of the hoarfrost is gone and we have about +6C, but Christmas Eve was white anyway.
I like the roots of the trees, I suppose they are a result of high level of water during the last 100 years. We have about 2 km of sandy beach here, only 100 meters from the center of Rättvik. The little 'island' you can see on the photo, was built almost 100 years ago, to make it possible for steamboats to deliver wares to the village. It's almost 700 meters from the beach and the bridge is a well known signature of Rättvik.
