I learned a friend and mentor at work died last week. He influenced many of us, whether faculty, staff, or student. Since the pandemic he had been working from home because of pre-existing immuno-compromised health and in the end COVID took him. He will certainly be missed. So, this morning for my Utata Thursday Photo Walk I took to the trails on our campus to reflect on life. He was also a photographer and we used to talk about the latest Nikon gear and classic Nikkor lenses. So I will tag this photo with utata:project=tw888 as I dwell on my memories.
