Puu-Käpylä 3

Robert Harper

Puu-Käpylä is an area in Helsinki that was built in the 1930. All of the houses are made of wood and are built so that they have large communal garden courtyards, which were given over to not only trees and shrubs and flowers, but also to vegetable plots. The garden was viewed as a large green living room.

When I walk around Puu-Käpylä I get the feeling that the people living there are very fortunate and blessed. I would also like to live there myself.
