And the Flowers

Spring afternoon at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The splashy events at the annual Sakura Matsuri cherry blossom festival are dance and J-pop and samurai plays. They almost distract from the beautiful flowers, which are why we're all here at the first place - almost.

This is a glimpse of a Weeping Spring Cherry tree (that's Weeping as in Willow) at the head of the Cherry Esplanade.
