Mesquite Dunes

Sean Scanlon

To get a better view of the dunes and hikers please view 'Mesquite Dunes' On Black and Large

Two hikers enjoy a late afternoon stroll up the spine of the Mesquite Dunes (also known as the Death Valley Dunes) outside of Stovepipe Wells in Death Valley National Park.

Shot with a Canon L series 70/200 and a 1.4 telextender. Some slight cropping on the bottom of the frame to remove some brush and position the dunes in the frame (which was always my intention when I took this shot). The new 100-400L I purchased today would have come in handy!
