Summer Sunset, Berlin (Revisited)

An upcoming project gives me the opportunity to look back to this image of Berlin's Fernsehturm - TV Tower - silhouetted against the setting sun in Alexanderplatz.

I lived in Berlin for a couple of years in the early 90's, and the tower enchanted me early on and never really let me go. During our week's visit two summers back, with my little silver point & shoot Olympus in hand, I succumbed to just about every tempting chance to take a shot of it.

The earlier version, which is similar with a simpler palette, is here. These days I bring a completely different take on Photoshoppery to the table, although the results aren't really all that wildly different.
