Above The Clouds

This magical scene was taken while I was away on a business trip. I know it seems like the most unlikely of settings for a business meeting. It was held at the Hamilton Lodge up in the mountains of Blatten, in a place called Belalp in Switzerland.

My good friend & colleague Daan and I stood drinking whisky from miniature bottles and taking in this fantastic sight...

As we chatted about life one of the workers from the lodge sledged past us with a headlamp to light his way, he lived further down the mountain and this was his transport home... Such a different way of life here!

(I adjusted the levels in photoshop using the curves tool, but nothing was added and nothing, apart from a crop, was taken away)
