Not in Oprah's Book Club

Gina started and finished this book on our trip; she loved it. I haven't read it, but we talked about the scandal regarding the author's embellishment of his story. Gina argues all authors elaborate or fictionalize their memoirs in some way. I wonder how much of this book's controversy was due to Oprah; her onetime seal of approval, then her very public disapproval.
