Taken for the Utatan project at one of my favorite sites in Albuquerque. It is an area in the city that allows and protects the prairie dogs. I was quite pleased to see how much work the volunteers have put into improving their habitat. These guys are very friendly and don't carry the diseases that rabbits and other rodents do.
