Trick or Treat (with Attitude)

New York. There's no place quite like it.
This wee holiday character perched in front of a store on a side street - Thompson, I think, though it might have been Sullivan - off the main branch of the Halloween Parade, just below Houston. I was charmed. The shop proprietor hailed passing children, calling them over to give them candy and a broad smile.
