Block Island, RI Southeast Light was moved back after the sea eroded too much of it's land. Block Island, like Long Island and the other surrounding islands, are entirely made from sand left by glacial deposits. No bed rock or clay exists above sea level. And so the sea washes away my home as it would a child's sand castle.
