I was cruising around flickr when I realized that I hadn't submitted anything lately to Utata, my favourite flickr based web community. So off I went to their home page looking for a worthy project. Wouldn't you know, last week they made a salute to my favourite cafeinated beverage: TEA. So, armed with two cameras, a tripod, some lighting equipment, and a sturdy chair I went to the kitchen and put the kettle on. Five minutes later I had a deliciously steaming cup of Orange Pekoe and this shot. I'm not sure if it turned out quite how I had pictured it (there's way too much grain for one), but I like it nonetheless, just like my tea.

Oh, and as an aside, you would not believe the balancing act I had to do to get this shot.
