There are so many different saunas in Finland and there is a definate pecking order. Savusauna is reportedly the best, followed by the wood burning stove with the smoke going through the stones before going out the chimney, and at the bottom of the pile is electric sauna. It is all to do with negative ions in the air they tell me.
