Provence - plateau de fromage

This is the cheese plate at the Restaurant ‚Les Remparts’ at Venasque, Vaucluse, with a diameter of about 40 cm. Several years ago, when we came here first, it was even bigger, maybe about 60 cm and so even some more variety. These are all goat cheese, perfumed with different spices and herbs. The pots in the middle contain a kind of mayonnaise/aioli.
This plate keeps at your place until you have finished the course.
