Don’t Fall

Tom Atwell

Sue and I went to the Methodist Hospital parking deck to look at and take pictures of the I74 construction project. Road construction shots don’t make for interesting pictures. So far none of them have appeared in my stream.

We were leaving, driving down the deck levels when I suddenly pulled over. Sue wondered, “What now”.

“Just a few shots”, I said.

We got out of the car and I walked towards the door.

“Have you been through here?” I asked.

“ I used to go this way a lot”, Sue said. “But I don’t anymore. In the winter it was very cold before they added the heaters.”

We looked down the hall of steel, glass and concrete. It is a couple stories above the road and is lined with full length windows the whole way.

I walked out to the middle and took a shot of the road below.

The shot you see here was taken from just inside the doorway.

BTW: The floor doesn’t actually slope the way you see it here. I thought this effect made this a more interesting photo. And it is not actually blue. Although I do think it would be nice if they would paint it this color.
