Choppy and I headed up to Hit Camera, to complain about our new Rebel XTs, which both had peculiar noises and error messages when popping the built-in flash.

As we demonstrated our problem to our smartaleck salesman Shelton, the problem conveniently disappeared.

"Must be photographer, not camera", he quipped in his accented english. He did, however tell us to let him know if the problem surfaced again.

We left, but not until after I walked out with a speedlite.

Which I conveniently left in Choppy's car.

Argh!
