The Birthday Mocha

Later in the afternoon I end up in Cafe Borgia on Spring Street. Borgia is one of the City's most august coffee houses, and I don't think I've ever actually been here before (I hung in Le Figaro back when I was a Village-coffee-house hanging guy).

The Cafe Borgia mocha - cocoa with an espresso shot - is the house specialty, or so they tell us.

This week I'm wandering the Lower East Side and SoHo as part of the ongoing and evolving Utata Thursday Walk project. The Thursday Walk concept is a straightforward one - take the camera, go for a walk. See what comes out.

This image is from my third Thursday outing, which I generally do on Fridays, but which happened on the Wednesday this time. Thursday is, after all, a state of mind; and this is my birthday anyway, so if I say it's Thursday, it's Thursday for me.
