Present Absinthe

Absinthe has been more or less legal in Europe for many years. I'm still trying to figure out whether you can buy it in the States (though you can make it legally).

I brought a couple of bottles of absinthe back from Berlin, and after today's sail the crew and I kick back and polish off this bottle. It's an interesting drink. At 110 proof it's pretty lethal - you mix it with water, like pastis - and it leaves us with a blurry, friendly, relaxed buzz.

The green sprite indeed.
